how would the tfp bot (whoever you choose) react to human s/o mourning one of their parents? the anniversary of my mother’s death is soon & I’d love to have a giant robot to comfort me….

Optimus:

* Optimus is not a stranger to loss.
* He mourns with you.
* You sit quietly together for most of the day, just silently taking comfort in each other’s presence
* He knows it’s useless to try and make you feel better; so he simply holds you and rubs calming circles into your back.

Ratchet:

* Ratchet isn’t quite sure what to do.
* He doesn’t like seeing you so unhappy but he isn’t sure how to fix it. He knows loosing someone is a pain that never really goes away and he hates it.
* He fusses over you and takes you for a drive, trying to distract you
* He finds a nice spot and you watch the sun set together.
* He knows nothing will really help. But a hug will do for now.

Arcee:

* She doesn’t say much. There’s not much to say.
* She understands what you’re going through. She lost both her partners. She knows… how much it hurts, to loose someone you love.
* She’s torn on whether or not to give you space.
* But in the end she quietly sits next to you and hugs you, and is there for you.

Bumblebee:

* He doesn’t really know what you’re going through. He’s never really lost anyone before.
* But he can tell it’s affected you deeply, and he hates seeing you in pain
* He doesn’t leave your side for the whole day
* He gives you lots of cuddles and kisses and quiet reassuring beeps
* He’s not going to let you be alone.
