i can’ t breath😂

my father promised my baby brother yesterday that he’ll buy him a playmobile game for his birthday.

my aunt came over today & asked my brother what he wants for his birthday, and he couldn’t remember what the game is called so he said very joyfully:”you could buy me what daddy will – a playboy!”

he is 5 years old.

he looked kind of insulted when we all stared at each other in an awkward silence before laughing hysterically….

Kudos to fanfiction writers for writing about all the trauma and emotional and mental turmoil that the original content creators dont acknowledge when putting characters through hell

Also kudos to writers for acknowledging that a character even exists when they havent appeared in the original content for like a million years yall are saints

Kudos to fic writers who also give anguish-prone characters a break once in a while by writing them into light-hearted and fun situations. Writers who rescue shallow plot-convenience characters and breathe new life into them. Writers who try to “fix” the problems made by the creators. Fic writers are awesome.

since some people seemed interested this post, I thought more about the similarities between the Seekers & the Jewish revolt against the Roman Empire, and I found quite a few parallels that I intend to talk about in more depth when I have more time. but this is one I just have to talk about now, at least briefly:
The Name in the second rebellion, the leader of the rebels was called “Bar Kokvah” which literally translates as “son of a star”, and after his own pride led to the failure of the rebellion he was renamed “Bar Kuzeivah” which means “son of lies”.

side note: in Hebrew referring to someone as a

“son” of something was kinda like defining them – in the way a parent makes the child – that thing is the core of that person.

(there are other versions that claim his real name was  Bar Kuzeivah & it was changed to Bar Kokhvah during the revolt but honestly, both versions fit Starscream so idrc)

that could not be more perfectly Starscream if I made it up… (which I, obviously, didn’t)
