well, i didn’t really pay much attention to details when I watched the show, since I watched it only because my 5yo brother wanted to watch “the robot show” and I thought tfp was too violent for him, but if I remember correctly – they are just random criminals, or at least most of them are…

there is a lot going on here

  • Starscream’s effortless, physics-defying little hop
    • seriously that little hop should not have gotten him that high up
  • the vehicon’s reaction of surprise when Suddenly Starscream
  • Knockout’s facepalm
  • Knockout reaches a hand out and steps forward like “STARSCREAM WHAT–NO”
  • you can’t actually see Starscream’s head from this angle, his shoulder pauldrons are in the way
  • that’s a very elegant kick, like he kicks that vehicon like it weighs nothing
