You know those hilarious “cowardly Knock Out” moments, where we see KO screaming hysterically and ducking for cover in the face of something that may or may not be an actual threat? 

Those don’t begin, in the show, until after he’s run over by a train on a mission immediately following Breakdown’s death.

That’s not cowardice, that’s trauma, pass it on.

i don’t think it’s the train. he seemed mostly annoyed by it… i think it has more to do with megatron abusing him as a replacement for starscream

can we just talk about this gif for a minute 

there is a lot going on here

  • Starscream’s effortless, physics-defying little hop
    • seriously that little hop should not have gotten him that high up
  • the vehicon’s reaction of surprise when Suddenly Starscream
  • Knockout’s facepalm
  • Knockout reaches a hand out and steps forward like “STARSCREAM WHAT–NO”
  • you can’t actually see Starscream’s head from this angle, his shoulder pauldrons are in the way
  • that’s a very elegant kick, like he kicks that vehicon like it weighs nothing

Drifting back to the serious, TFP had its moments of quiet
and mourning, of loss and friendship. What was your favorite heartfelt or
heartbreaking moment of the series?

Ooh my grief… well, I think everyone and their shadow agrees what happened with Breakdown was fucking tragic, but it really REALLY hit home when Knockout first sees “Silas-Breakdown”.

I mean…. WOW… you can fucking see the dawning realization on KO’s face when he realizes that the mech in front of him was NOT Breakdown. And the fact that it’s Breakdown’s corpse?

I really fucking feel for Knockout. We never see him grieve, we see anger and hatred and it was well deserved, but that one moment when KO’s eyes widen at seeing Breakdown’s body being used as a puppet to a gross little human.

It gets me, man.
