What event/scene that has been mentioned or foreshadowed in The Name of the Wind are you looking forward to finally seeing in The Doors of Stone? 

I just want to see grown up Kvothe doing all the awesome things he claimed he did… you know that quote? 

“I have stolen princesses back from sleeping barrow kings. I burned down the town of Trebon. I have spent the night with Felurian and left with both my sanity and my life. I was expelled from the University at a younger age than most people are allowed in. I tread paths by moonlight that others fear to speak of during day. I have talked to gods, loved women, and written songs that make the minstrels weep. You may have heard of me.”

Yeah… I’m guessing some of it happens in The Wise Man’s Fear, though.

Does what happened in WMF count as him being expelled? I haven’t read that bit in a while and now I’ve read this quote….

Was expelled technically in WMF [told to ‘go on a break’ by the head masters hEAVILLY suggested aka, told nicely he was expelled]

Has tread paths in moonlight that others fear [prolly most roads, the section of WMF right before Felurian, some possibly parts in the Maer section]. 

That boy has, er, ‘loved’ women [Adem women, the women in the bar the night he left Felurian], 

Has written songs [NOTW, WMF].

I don’t know about the princess, but it could be Denna???? Maybe??? I doubt it though, unless he’s being his usual dramatic self.I don’t think the name of the town the dracus went through was called Terbon [Will have to check!], and unless Felurian is considered a god then not that either. Other than that, we still have some pretty big plot points in that statement to witness.

i remember in the later parts of WMF he and his buddies have dinner then he says something along the lines of, we should leave it here because it all turns to shit after this. so i think he’ll get legitimately expelled fairly soon into book 3

also who the fuck calls him dulator? he says his fist real lover called him dulator, and no one has called him dulator.

1. Denna is not the princess, unless she is revealed as a princess and he has yet to steal her. Point being, this event has not yet occured.
2. At the end of WMF, he basically says that the time for him to leave the university is upcoming (basically what @kvothe-kingkiller said), and “expelled” usually means permanent, so I don’t think it has happened yet.
3. It could be argued that he has not yet had a lover. He hasn’t slept with Denna yet, nor had a relationship with her, and he hasn’t had any real feelings for any of his partners so far.

I want to know what’s behind the door in the Archives. And what’s in Loeclos box. And in Kote’s box. And I really want to know what the ‘plot twist’ will be.
Actually, I am just such a curious person, I want to know everything. I want each and every little bit which was alluded to, explained and with detailed background. (Not that this is going to happen…but I can hope :D)

wasn’t he expelled in NOTW? i mean all of the masters voted to expel him, and then they voted to suspend the expulsion? maybe that’s what he meant…
