My brother really really wanted a pet but since we knew we can’t properly take care of one atm, my dad bought him this giant stuffed lion instead, and he absolutely LOVES IT!

He named it אריה לייב – it’s an old Jewish name that combines ‘lion’ in both Hebrew and Yiddish so its name is basically “Lion Lion”, a very fitting name I think ^_^

I AM SO EXCITED!!!

A couple of years ago, my aunt mentioned seeing onesies for adults while she was abroad.

I thought it could be really nice – I always get super cold on winter nights so I really love snuggling in any kind of warm & comfortable pajamas and these looked comfy af so I looked it up and I found out that while there were some in my country they cost upward of 100$ so I was kinda sad but just given up and completely forgot about them.

until yesterday when my sister told me she saw some in a store on her way from school and while she didn’t have the time to go inside and ask for prices she said she heard they were rather cheap.

so i went there today and they cost about 10$ now so I bought 2 and I’m now home and I’m gonna shower and put one on right now!

I haven’t had a onesie since I was like, 3 years old. this is definitely my most ridiculous purchase yet but… I really really like it😁

The first candle of Hannukah!

(the cake is for my father’s birthday which actually isn’t today but we had no time to celebrate with the whole family until now ^_^)

Wow

I… I forgot how terrible buying clothes is…

I’m just so tired of trying on different items one after another and just ending up sobbing in the changing room because NONE. OF. THEM. FIT.

I mean I can’t possibly be so abnormally fat that clothes in my size just wouldn’t exist… so why is finding them so hard

Infuriating fashion trends:

Skirts that fall right in the middle of my knee

Dresses that are long but also so v neck that they’d look weird with a shell

Dresses that are long enough and have long sleeves but are made of gross material

Dresses that look amazing at first and then you pick it up to look closer and it’s a jumpsuit

Related to the last one: at the height of the hi-lo dress trend, pulling a long-looking dress off the rack only to find that the front is thigh-high

Also dresses that look perfect until you realize there’s a(t least one) slit halfway up the thigh

I got a long chambray dress with slits down both sides that I was planning on sewing up. It’s still hanging on the back of my closet door 😆

Also long-sleeve shirts that have no shoulders.

Why has no one mentioned:

Dresses that have long sleeves, high necklines and cover your knees but infuriatingly have a huge cut-out back!!!

That weird keyhole v-neck thing where the top of it is a mock neck…. but it’s got a huge cut-out underneath.

Also side cut-outs. D:

Shoulder and elbow cutouts

Skirts that are a good length standing but half the length seems to disappear when you sit

Stretchy pencil/layering skirts that fall well below your knees when you put them on but ride up when you walk

in class today my teacher told us to try looking at actual websites to see how they work and I have to say… Tumblr is the most broken site of all the ones I checked…
