[image: 4 panel fancomic of Drift in different eras visualizing/remembering Ratchet.
Young Drift remembers Young Ratchet, who says “Take care!” with a soft smile on his face. Drift’s crying with his hands on his face and a bandaid on his helm “I met an angel today!”
Deadlock visualizes early-war Ratchet, who says: “Didn’t think we’d meet like this but I’m glad you’re okay.” Deadlock steams. “What the fuck is wrong with him? Like he cares.”
Drift visualizes late-war Ratchet, who says: “Good to have you on this side.” Drift smiles happily “Still too kind for his own good I see…”
mtmte era Ratchet sticks his middle finger up, radiating fury. Drift sweats in confusion, little shocked question marks floating around him.

I really love these little hand gestures Ratchet keeps making for a couple of reasons:
1. they didn’t HAVE to include them – it’s not essential to the scene, just makes it better, and I’m really thankful for the work and effort the animators put into this show.
2. they make the robots seem far more alive and human and the emotions seem so much more real.
and the personal ones:
3. I’m Jewish. and Jewish people speak with their hands. A LOT. and I’m definitely no exception…(I know not only Jews do it but c’mon, let me have this)
4. I just really love Ratchet and almost everything about him makes me unreasonably happy💞
Swerve still too relatable
I feel bad for my father every time I blow up on him but he kinda always has it coming…
a little tip dad: if you’re gonna ask someone for help don’t start by saying that they really don’t do anything important in the house (despite both of us knowing it’s not true) then say you didn’t mean it like that and then say what you ask them to do is “so small it doesn’t count as doing something anyways”
I have so many great ideas in the middle of tests and boring classes and at 3am??? but??? then I have some free time to sit in front of my computer trying to remember it all and put it into words and it’s like????
I’m sorry but I can’t get it out of my head:
so Ford feels like a “freak” because he has 6 fingers but we clearly see the kids having only 4 fingers while the adults have normal 5 fingered hands
I thought maybe within universe the children tend to grow an extra finger when they grow up & Ford was considered a freak for growing 2 or something but in the flashbacks, Stanly has 5 fingers:
so seriously – what the heck?
maybe this wouldn’t bother me so much if the whole show wasn’t the result of Ford having these extra fingers!
