OK listen, I don’t know much about Christianity and Christian ideology.

maybe they really DO teach nothing but love and acceptance and the fact that their religion caused more death and destruction to the world than any other one was just a coincidence and people not understanding & misinterpreting their ideals or whatever but like…

I just can’t ignore the fact that their entire religion relies on the belief that the death and torture of a Jewish man brought salvation to the world.

that their churches and places of worship are filled with torture porn of a Jewish man.

that their HOLY SYMBOL is the torture device used to torture and kill said Jewish man.

fire-silver replied to your post “What happened to G1 Ratchet?”

I’m sorry if you didn’t want an actual reply but I think it stems mostly from his more “modern” interpretations of him (i.e.- Prime and MTMTE/LL) having those characteristics. Maybe some people probably just think that just because one incarnation of him has these traits they all do?

@fire-silver No need to apologize! I always love getting replies on my posts!

that could absolutely be the cause, although I heard it started with fans interpretation that became canon in TFA and most incarnations since but it could just as easily be like you said and TFA started having him act like that and fans really like it.

I only got into the fandom like 3 years ago so I don’t really know…

I am curious as to where the idea to change him come from though – was it fans  (I heard people say that they headcanon him to be like dr. bones from Star Trek so that could be it) or if the showrunners decided that the only way to make him a war veteran is to make him be constantly in a bad mood but it apparently struck a chord with people regardless

and like I said, I like him like that too, I just miss the dorky party ambulance that talked to traffic lights and was fascinated by hot dogs…

//that got a ramble-y there I’m sorry//

Simple guide:

Born before 1980: You’re gen x, why are you even worrying about this. Maybe go do some gen x things like writing articles about how much us millennials suck.

Born in the 80s or early to mid 90s: millennial

Born between like 1996 and 2000: This is the no man’s land. No one knows which generation you are from. Both will welcome you as one of their own, however.

Born in the 2000s: Gen Z

Born in the 2010s: dude you’re like 5 what are you doing on this site? people say bad words on here please leave.

I’m in the no man’s land…

just finished reading ll13

I’m not gonna spoil anything but…. so much stuff happened!

I don’t even know if it’s all connected or what’s I gonna lead to it was just so much stuff without a pause to breath… like, I get it that if everything went perfectly & everyone was happy all the time it would get quite boring but… can’t there be some lighthearted fun in all the mix? just once in a while? (i don’t mean the little jokes that are thrown in, i mean a full issue where no one dies or get injured or is traumatized for life. just one. please)

since the start of ll it was just tragedy, terror & death… I need some break…

I think I’m going to erase the posts about the Charlottesville rally from my blog, might even blacklist the posts mentioning it. I know they are important but when I saw all those literal nazis on my dash I had a little panic attack – nothing too serious, it was just getting really hard to breathe and …
anyway, I probably won’t be posting anymore about this and I’d appreciate it if you tagged all your posts with “Nazi tw” or something too. thank you.

one gag that never fails to make me lose my shit is when a character is shown next to a framed photograph of themselves, in the exact same pose as in the photo

it’s a mouthful to explain but god damn. that is comedy gold right there.

I had to…
