I just started writing a post about my thought of how this new splinter actually fits very neatly (if accidentally IMO) in the progression of the splinters that came before him (that I’m aware of anyway) but it somehow evolved into a monster of a post of me analyzing past splinters and now I’m not even halfway through and I’m already pretty sure it’s way too long and no one will be interested in reading it anyways…

I started writing a post about the mess that is Ratchet’s backstory for the war on Cybertron, but as I wrote down the story and started writing my thought about it it became very very long (over 1000 words so far) so I’m wondering: do you think I should finish writing the whole thing in one post or cut it down to different points I find interesting in multiple posts?

just wondering…

there is something i was always curious about about Transformer:animated

in the first episode, we see Optimus Prime watching a video about the war between the autobots and the decepticons that looks clearly like edited footage from the G1 cartoon, and we learn that he war ended eons ago and the Autobots won etc… but since the “history” is from the G1 cartoon, does this make TFA the sequel? if so, could it be that Optimus and the rest of the gang from TFA are named after the great heroes of the war?

maybe Megatron refuses to remember tfa!optimus’s name because he refuse to call this bot the same name of his long lost rival? does this make any sense or is it just me?
